Don’t Give Up~Get Started~~Susie Austin

I know the price of success: dedication, hard work, and an unremitting devotion to the things you want to see happen.

Frank Lloyd Wright:

Yesterday someone asked me how to set things up so you don’t give up. I could write about this for a very long time but will start with the basics as I see them. I am sure many people have different ideas and I invite you to share them.

Having goals is very important but they also need to be attainable. Have short term goals as these are very much needed to measure your own success. By achieving small successes it motivates you to accomplish new and grand goals.

Persistence when starting and continuing goals is a key to accomplishments. Merriam Webster’s definition of persistent is this, to go on resolutely or stubbornly in spite of opposition, importunity, or warning. Not to give up is the key to success and believing in you is just as important. I feel sharing your goals with another person is also quite helpful as it makes you accountable and helps motivate you to move forward.

Positive mental attitude is the single most important principal regarding goals dream and life in general. Keep in mind this well known aphorism: “Success attracts success while failure attracts more failure.” Having said this, I feel the best possible thing you can possibly do is hang with the winners and keep your attitude positive. Don’t give up, remember it is up to you to define and create the positive outcomes and success that you would like in your life.

Know and believe in yourself and have a plan. Start small and work yourself into the world you would like to see for yourself. Make at least one positive change a day and move forward with your dreams and goals. Keep in mind all your dreams and goals are within reach if you believe in them and yourself.
