Destiny a Matter of Choice?~~~ Susie Austin

 The way to develop self-confidence

 is to do the thing you fear and get

a record of successful experiences behind you.

Destiny is not a matter of chance,

it is a matter of choice;

 it is not a thing to be waited for,

it is a thing to be achieved.

~~William Jennings Bryan

I have had many discussions in the last couple of weeks centered on fear, self confidence, and choice. It is very important to remember everyone experiences fear and it is a normal emotion. The level and circumstances are quite different but the emotion is the same. For example the fear of a surgery compared to the fear of investing a lot of money into a new business. They are quite different but the emotion is the same.

Self confidence will involve risk, you need to step through your fears and face them, when you do this you will gain confidence in yourself and will most likely find the fear was far worse than the actual event. Once you have a few of these experiences behind you, your self confidence will become stronger.

However be extremely careful not to become over confident and egotistical. If you are careful this should not be a problem but you need to be aware of this, I use this statement often and suggest you may consider saving it, it is one of my favorites, “Cocky is hoping, confidence is knowing!”

Destiny is a matter of choice, something to be achieved, however do you have any idea what your destiny is? Most definitions will tell you it is a course of predetermined events that will happen in the future. For example, they were destined to be together or it was destiny for me to become a writer. I believe destiny is a choice we all have but many choose to ignore or do nothing. You must make a choice and take steps to accomplish the things you would like to achieve.

Maybe it is time to make some decisions in your life about your destiny.

Remember how important it is to make good choices, your destiny is what you choose it to be, when you do this you will accomplish and achieve great things.

I am sure there are many who will disagree with me and that is ok because we all can choose to have our own opinions, this is the beauty of life! I choose to make today an amazing day how about you?
