A Little On Persistance and Success~~~Susie Austin

Always bear in mind that

 your own resolution to succeed

 is more important than

 any other one thing.

 Abraham Lincoln

Successful people don’t give up; they work very hard towards their goals and dreams.

Abraham Lincoln persisted despite of being born in poverty, failing in business, going deeply into debt and losing several elections. While visiting Washington DC, I stood at the Lincoln Memorial with deep appreciation reading the words. “With malice toward none, with charity for all with firmness in the right, as God gives us the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in; to bind up the nations wounds.”  DC is an amazing place to visit, if you have never been there I encourage you to consider a trip there at some point.

Persistence, not giving up is the key to success; however success is not the only key to happiness. Success is the journey, the lessons along the way, the persistence it takes to get to the finish.  I think it is safe to say persistence is the key to happiness.

Have you thought about giving up on a project but continued to finish it through? I think more importantly than the end result, is the determination it takes to finish and the satisfaction of a job well done.

Consider the accomplishments you want to achieve in the future. Do you have a plan? If not today is the perfect time to begin formulating your plan, your dreams and your goals. Take the beginning step toward the future your dreams. Be persistent, be happy, be kind, and be ready to have the live of happiness that you truly deserve.
