Do You Have A Dream~~~Susie Austin

Go confidently in the

direction of your dreams.

 Live the life you

have imagined.

               Henry David Thoreau

What do you dream about? I am not talking about when you are sleeping I am talking about when your awake. Have you used your imagination lately to rediscover what your dreams are?

Are there things you have always wanted to do but never accomplished? Today is a good day to consider a dreams list. This is not a goal sheet however you could have the dreams list on your goal sheet.

Once you have identified what it is you would like to do, begin to plan the steps to have this dream happen. Usually when you are at this stage your motivation level is gaining momentum and this is what will move you forward to successfully realizing your dream. The key is to have a dream and believe it can be a reality.

Always remember change is inevitable and it’s ok to change your dreams as you move forward. I am always varying mine and adding new ideas. The beauty of this, is I can redesign my dreams as I progress and I am constantly moving forward. With this process there is no failure just progress.

Today is a good time to begin to dream of the things you want to accomplish in the future. The big and the small, do you want to ride a horse, parasail, learn to golf or even make a record? It is all very possible if we believe and take steps to make it happen.

Remember the song Happy Talk from the movie South Pacific? “You’ve got to have a dream, if you don’t have a dream, how you going to make a dream come true?” Make today a day og beauty and happiness.

  1. Susie,
Thank you for constantly and a consistently reminding us of how we can be better. Here is another thought about dreams and how much we should commit to them. From the movie “Million Dollar Baby”, as spoken by Eddie Scrap-Iron Dupris (Morgan Freeman): “If there’s magic in boxing, it’s the magic of fighting battles beyond endurance, beyond cracked ribs, ruptured kidneys and detached retinas. It’s the magic of risking everything for a dream that nobody sees but you.” Your dreams are worth the effort, follow them, Thanks Susie.
