Give And It Shall Be Given~~~Susie Austin

Give, and it shall be given to you.

For whatever measure you deal

out to others

it will be dealt to you in return.”

The Bible

I had the privilege of attending a Christian concert last night and it was a wonderful worship experience. The artist was Chad James and if you get a chance check out his music.

He talks about how God called him to music and it was not an easy place to be, We all go through this at times, we possibly ignore what it is we are being called to do.

Do you wonder what it is you are being called to do at all?

I believe if we live our life as God wants us to, we give to others of ourselves and our resources, we love others and are kind as well as helpful this is our greatest mission in life. We also need to be open to what it is God wants us to do, maybe in the form of volunteering, mentoring, music or in many other ways.

When we believe this our lives will be blessed in more ways than we can imagine. Enjoy life and remember to be thankful for all that we have and all we have the opportunity be a part of, take opportunities and recognize all the beautiful things we have been given to take pleasure in here on this earth. Most of all don’t forget to thank God for all that he has given us. Have a blessed day.

  1. So true! we have kind of saints in here who own nothing as their personal belongings. They disown every thing that is worldly to serve God and needy and yet the whole world is their. They are invited by the riches and most influential people in the town to stay in their home.

  2. Don’t worry about your personal marching orders or calling.
    You already have it.
Step up to lend a hand when you see someone in a bind.
Encourage strangers with a word or act of kindness.
Living a happy life in God’s plan is little things done for others who do not know your name.
No one gets mentally ill doing this.
    It is healthy.

If you plot or scheme some huge self sacrifice, it is wasted before you start: that is vanity.
