Roll Your Sleeves and Show Up For Life

Eighty percent of success is showing up.

Part of being a mentor, role model and a good example to others is holding people accountable to their promises. To reach your goals it is a necessity to have a mentor, be a strong leader and hold yourself accountable as well. Make sure you live up to your own goals you have set for yourself and promises you have made to others. If you could put someone in charge of your individual and personal goals would you hire someone who just gets by themselves who talks a good talk or would you look for someone with a good work ethic, has proven results, maybe someone who has been there, done that and has made progress toward reaching their own goals and is consistently setting new ones? This should be the kind of person you want to be.

Develop relationships with people that you want to be like, if you want to be a winner hang with winners, if you want to be successful hang out with successful people. If there are negative people in your life step away and find positive people who will help you move forward. It sounds easy in theory and may take a little time and effort to accomplish however the end result is well worth the effort.

Remember the only person you can really change is yourself. What kind of person do you want to be? You can be a good example and a good role model to others simply by your daily actions. Enjoy life, be trustworthy, happy, smile a lot, roll your sleeves up and show for life up every day.
